Conditions We Treat

Complex Spinal Conditions Require Specialized Care

We specialize in treating persistent and complex spinal conditions that haven't responded to conventional treatments. Our advanced decompression technology and corrective care approach deliver results where other methods fall short.

01

Lower Back and Neck Pain

Lower back and neck pain is one of the most common and debilitating conditions we treat. Pain persists for months or years and significantly impacts quality of life, work performance, and mental health.

Spinal pain often has a structural origin — misaligned vertebrae, compressed discs, or nerve irritation that creates a persistent pain cycle. Without addressing these root causes, pain management alone provides only temporary relief.

Our approach combines precise chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression therapy, and rehabilitative protocols to correct the underlying structural problems and break the chronic pain cycle for good.

Common Symptoms

  • Persistent aching or stiffness in the back or neck
  • Pain that worsens with prolonged sitting or standing
  • Reduced range of motion
  • Muscle spasms or tightness
  • Radiating pain into the arms or legs
02

Sciatica

Sciatica is not a medical diagnosis, but rather a symptom of an underlying problem in the lower back — such as a herniated disc or spinal stenosis — that is compressing or irritating the nerve roots. The clinical diagnosis is referred to as a "radiculopathy," meaning a disc has protruded from its normal position and is putting pressure on the radicular nerve or nerve root that forms part of the sciatic nerve.

Non-Surgical Spinal Disc Decompression offers relief to sciatica sufferers by gently reducing the pressure within spinal discs. The bones of the spine are slowly and systematically separated using the DRX9000 Spinal Decompression system. As the vertebrae separate, pressure is gradually reduced within the disc (intradiscal pressure) until a vacuum is formed.

This vacuum "sucks" the gelatinous, jelly-like center of the disc back into the disc, thereby reducing the disc bulge or herniation. Significant reduction removes pressure off the sciatic nerve roots and considerably reduces pain and disability. The vacuum also pulls much-needed oxygen and nutrients into injured and degenerated discs, allowing the healing process to begin.

Common Symptoms

  • Radiating pain from the lower back into the leg
  • Numbness or tingling in the leg or foot
  • Weakness in the affected leg
  • Sharp, shooting pain with movement
  • Pain that worsens when sitting
03

Herniated and Bulging Discs

Strong and healthy discs are thick and flexible — like a wet sponge — allowing a wide range of bending and twisting motions. Unhealthy discs are stiff and hard like a dry sponge, and prone to bulging or herniation. Over time, gravity, spinal joint dysfunction, and accumulated trauma cause discs to compress, flatten, and degenerate.

This constant compression prevents much-needed oxygen and nutrients from entering the disc. The resulting malnourishment causes the once-tough outer layers of the disc to soften, making the disc susceptible to injury or disease. Disc damage can occur anywhere in the spine, but the discs of the neck (cervical spine) and lower back (lumbar spine) are the most commonly injured.

Non-Surgical Spinal Disc Decompression offers relief by gently reducing pressure within spinal discs using the DRX9000 system. As the vertebrae are separated, intradiscal pressure is reduced until a vacuum forms — drawing the gelatinous disc center back into place, reducing the bulge, relieving nerve pressure, and pulling oxygen and nutrients into the disc to support healing.

Common Symptoms

  • Sharp or burning pain at the site of herniation
  • Radiating pain, numbness, or tingling
  • Muscle weakness in the arms or legs
  • Pain that worsens with bending or lifting
  • Reduced reflexes in the affected area
04

Pinched Nerve

A pinched nerve occurs when a nerve is damaged or injured by direct pressure or compression and is unable to properly conduct its signal. There are many possible causes depending on the location of the nerve, and symptoms can occur near the site of impingement or radiate into the arms or legs.

A pinched nerve in the neck can cause neck pain or stiffness along with symptoms down the arm. A pinched nerve in the lower back causes back pain and stiffness with symptoms down the leg. When the pinched nerve comes from the spinal cord, coughing or sneezing may aggravate the pain. Problems related to pinched nerves may also be worse while sleeping.

Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression offers relief by gently separating the bones of the spine using the DRX9000 system. As the vertebrae are separated, pressure is slowly reduced within the facet joints. Decompressing these "jammed" spinal joints can significantly reduce pain and disability, while the separation creates a vacuum that pulls much-needed oxygen, nutrients, and fluids into the injured joint space to allow healing to begin.

Common Symptoms

  • Numbness or decreased sensation in the area supplied by the nerve
  • Sharp or burning pain that may radiate outward
  • Tingling or "pins and needles" sensations
  • Muscle weakness or twitching in the affected area
  • Frequent "falling asleep" of the foot or hand
05

Degenerative Disc Disease

Degenerative Disc Disease is a steady process that occurs as we age. With the gradual change in water and protein content of the body's cartilage, this process is sometimes accelerated by heavy work demands such as repetitive bending and twisting, heavy lifting, or an accident or injury. Degenerative disc disease is not actually a disease — it refers to a condition in which pain is caused by a damaged disc.

Because both the discs and the facet joints are composed of cartilage, these areas are subject to wear and tear over time. This gradual deterioration of the discs between the vertebrae is referred to as degenerative disc disease. The average person with this condition is active, otherwise healthy, and in his or her 30s or 40s. A wide range of symptoms and severity is associated with the condition.

Spinal decompression therapy helps by creating negative intradiscal pressure, which promotes the influx of nutrients and fluids into the disc — supporting the disc's natural repair processes and slowing further degeneration.

Common Symptoms

  • Pain that is often worse when sitting (discs bear up to 3× more load seated than standing)
  • Pain that worsens with bending, lifting, or twisting
  • Feeling better with activity rather than prolonged sitting or standing
  • Periods of severe pain lasting days to months, ranging from nagging to disabling
  • Numbness and tingling in the extremities or radiating pain into the buttocks, thighs, arms, or hands
06

Accident Injuries

Spinal injuries from sports activities, auto accidents, or workplace incidents can cause immediate pain and long-term structural damage if not properly treated. Early intervention is critical to prevent chronic problems.

Whiplash from auto accidents, compression injuries from sports, and repetitive strain injuries can all cause disc damage, vertebral misalignment, and soft tissue injury. Without proper corrective care, these injuries often lead to chronic pain and dysfunction.

We provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for spinal injuries, combining chiropractic adjustments, spinal decompression, and rehabilitative protocols to restore proper alignment, reduce inflammation, and support full recovery.

Common Symptoms

  • Acute pain following an injury
  • Neck pain and stiffness after whiplash
  • Radiating pain or neurological symptoms
  • Reduced range of motion
  • Muscle spasms and guarding
